Sales Manager, IBD Channel, East Region

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Manage independent sales representative teams in Eastern region to expand sales in the Independent Bicycle Retailer channel. The focus is on retailer recruitment, POP placement, retailer training and retailer event participation.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Train independent rep sales team on all Saris products
• Provide sales teams with product, pricing and program information
• Develop business / sales plans for each independent sales rep teams
• Review rep sales activities on weekly basis
• Visit key accounts with sales representatives
• Create target list for new dealers and measure monthly sales progress
• Push sales reps for POP and demo unit placements
• Participate in Key Account sales events where needed
• Participate in trade shows for Saris products
• Collaborate with other regional managers in execution of national sales programs
• Collaborate with sales management lead on national distributor programs

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Retail sales experience – preferably in the bicycle or outdoor retail industry preferred
• Alternatively, wholesale experience in selling to bicycle or outdoor retailers
• Analytical skills
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Organized and detail oriented
• Based on the East Coast
• Ability to work remotely
